Edith Housekeeping

Edith, alike her sister Maaike, started working at Villa Magnolia well before Jos and Wilma Troy owned the hotel. Together with her sister, she worked in housekeeping during the summer. Edith has also worked in the office of chicken farm and raised a beautiful family. Her daughter has worked at Villa Magnolia as well, during weekends and holidays.

Favourite place at Villa Magnolia

Edith loves spending her time in the gardens of Villa Magnolia. Especially during spring, when all the hydrangeas, roses and other flowers bloom again and turn the gardens into a fragrant oasis.

Edith’s recommendations

A visit to the studios at Atelier Bernardien should be at the top of every art lovers’ list. But, the beaches are also worth visiting. Edith enjoys long walks through the forest. Walks that almost always end with a visit to Café-Restaurant de Boschhoek. Their terraces are the perfect spot to enjoy some refreshments. According to Edith, a visit to Zeeland is not complete without a trip to Domburg or Zierikzee.
