Reservations
If you indicate a preference regarding the reserved room, we will do our utmost to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee this (unpaid preference and therefore no guarantee). If you make a direct reservation online, you can indicate this yourself in the special requests section or send us a separate email.
If you would like this guarantee, we will charge a preference fee per room and per night for stays in the low season shorter than 4 paid nights. In the mid and high seasons, we charge a preference fee for stays shorter than 7 paid nights.
All prices per night are based on a stay for two people.
When you make a reservation online, directly through our own website, you pay the best price for your stay, enjoy more favorable terms and conditions, and receive a 5% discount. Of course, you are still welcome to make a reservation directly at the reception desk with one of our employees. We are happy to help you as you have come to expect from us! Yes, when making a reservation, you can choose our Fully Flexible rate. This is our most flexible price, allowing you to cancel your stay up to 8 days before the day of arrival free of charge and without giving any reason. For cancellations within 8 days of the day of arrival, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged. Your credit card will therefore be automatically charged 8 days before arrival.
Yes, we offer two options:
1. You can purchase a voucher from us for a fixed value. This allows the recipient to choose the date, length of stay, and room type themselves. The advantage of this type is that the recipient is flexible in how they spend it.
2. You can also choose to specify the room and the number of nights. As the giver, you choose the room type and a price linked to a specific period of the year. The advantage of this method is that the financial value of the voucher is not visible.
The vouchers can be purchased on site or online via a form and are valid for two years. To request a voucher online and for more information, please refer to the ‘gift voucher’ page on our website.
It is possible to reserve multiple rooms at the same time. This can be done directly online via our reservation page. We kindly request that you let us know in advance whether everything should be invoiced on one bill or separately. If you would like to reserve multiple rooms with one of our employees (i.e., not online), please send us an email with your request so that our employees can look into it at their convenience. Please also remember to let us know the number of guests per room and, if there are children, please include their ages.
Yes, it is possible to stay overnight at Villa Magnolia with a Bongo voucher.
If you would like to stay with us using a Bongo voucher, you must book directly on the website www.bongo.nl. You cannot make a reservation directly through Villa Magnolia. If it is not possible to make a reservation online via the Bongo/Smartbox website, this means that there are no rooms available at this reduced rate for that period (yet).

We understand that plans can change. Changes to your reservation will incur a fee from the second change onwards. In addition, changes and cancellations must always be confirmed in writing by the guest via email.
The reservation and cancellation conditions of the Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH) apply to reservations and services provided by Villa Magnolia. These are binding for everyone who uses our services, unless otherwise stated in the booked rate for your stay. Please check the conditions of each reservation for specific conditions.
When a reservation is made at a standard rate, our Best Available Rate, the following applies to the calculation of cancellation costs based on the total value of that reservation: - More than 30 days before arrival 0% - More than 14 days before arrival 15% - More than 7 days before arrival 35% - More than 3 days before arrival 60% - More than 24 hours before arrival 85% - Less than 24 hours before arrival 100%
Cancellation fees apply if the reservation is changed or canceled after the deadline. For certain prices and rooms (such as our Non-Refundable prices), reservations cannot be changed after final booking. Applicable conditions are stated in the reservation confirmation.
Villa Magnolia does not offer cancellation insurance and requests that guests make their own arrangements.
When making a reservation (both online and with our staff), you will be asked to make a deposit or provide a guarantee with your credit card, depending on the rate you have booked. Once we have received your guarantee, the reservation is final.
We also accept cash payments in euros. You can choose to transfer the total travel sum to Villa Magnolia before arrival. This can be done by bank transfer to account number NL44 RABO 0329 5406 61 in the name of Villa Magnolia in Oostkapelle (BIC RABONL2U).
Stays
Here you will find an overview of our favorite restaurants in the area. In consultation with our regular guests, we have selected a number of restaurants where we are sure you will enjoy all the culinary delights Zeeland has to offer. Please let us know if we can help you make a table reservation.
When you stay at Villa Magnolia, we provide a weekly overview of tips for things to do in the surrounding area. We also have a wide range of flyers about sights and attractions in the lobby of the villa. You can also always ask one of our staff members who live in the area and know better than anyone what there is to do in the area (even outside the high season).
Arrival/departure
Villa Magnolia does not have a separate area for secure luggage storage. If you arrive before 2:00 PM and your room is not yet ready, you can park your car in our parking lot or your luggage can be placed in your room.
Check-in time is from 2:00 PM, at which time you can be sure that your room will be ready.
Would you like to check in extra early on the day of arrival so you can make the most of your day? You can request an ‘early check-in’, which we provide based on availability. Your room will then be ready for check-in from 12:00 noon instead of 2:00 p.m. After your request, you will receive a message in advance to let you know whether this is actually possible. Would you like to check in later than 5:00 p.m.? No problem! Please let us know in advance so that we can share the key instructions with you.
Our reception is open daily between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Check-out time for all accommodations is 10:30 a.m.
It is also possible to request a late check-out. We provide this service based on availability. The costs for this can be found on our rates page.
Accommodations
All rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, Nespresso machine, refrigerator, WiFi, television, and electric kettle.
Yes, all accommodations are non-smoking. We kindly request that you smoke outside. Please be considerate of your neighbors. If smoking occurs in your accommodation, we will be forced to charge you for additional cleaning costs.
No, pets are not allowed at Villa Magnolia.
Yes, this is included with all accommodations.
Yes, you are welcome to receive guests during your stay, as long as the maximum capacity is not exceeded. There will be a charge for making up extra beds and using towels.
Young guests are also very welcome. In the Villa and in the studio complex, it is possible to book adjoining rooms that are connected by a connecting door or to add extra beds or cots. For a third and/or fourth person (aged 3 and above), an extra bed must be added. Children up to 3 years old must also have their own bed. You can bring your own cot or reserve one in advance. It is important that you indicate in advance when making a reservation how many children you are traveling with and their ages. Not all rooms are suitable for an extra (baby) bed. On this page you will find an overview of the rates for an extra (baby) bed.
Please let us know when you make your reservation if you are unable to climb stairs. We do not have elevators, so we will be happy to look at the options on the ground floor.
On our estate of almost 5 hectares, we offer a wide choice of different rooms, studios, penthouses, and suites. In the Villa, you will find comfortable guest rooms. Boerderij 't Hof Janse offers a luxurious guest room and two beautiful suites. The studios and self-catering penthouses are located in a separate building. Finally, there are comfortable holiday homes available to rent for groups of two to six people.

Facilities & services
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in every accommodation.
All accommodations offer our local vegetarian breakfast. If you have booked a room in the Villa or in the 't Hof Janse farmhouse, breakfast is included in your room rate. A stay in a vacation home or studio/penthouse does not include breakfast, but you can choose to add breakfast as an extra. Breakfast prices can be found on this page.
Yes, there are laundry facilities at the rear of the studio building that you can use free of charge. Cleaning supplies such as a vacuum cleaner and broom are also available in this room.
Hotel rooms in the Villa and Boerderij ’t Hof Janse
When staying in the Villa or Boerderij ’t Hof Janse, you can choose when you would like your room to be cleaned. This is possible on a daily basis, but we no longer do this as standard, partly from a sustainability perspective. You can choose between a full room cleaning or just clean towels. You can also indicate at the reception that you would like cleaning every other day, for example, and of course your preferences can be adjusted on a daily basis.
Studios and vacation homes
When you stay in one of our studios/penthouses or vacation homes, towels are usually replaced after four days and bedding after a week. If you would like this more often, this is of course possible for a small additional fee. It is also possible to have the accommodations cleaned in between stays (with the exception of the final cleaning). Cleaning costs will then be charged. You can see the costs on our rate overview.
Villa Magnolia has plenty of free parking spaces for all our guests directly in front of the hotel. We also have four universal charging points for electric cars.
We currently do not have facilities for disabled people.
One of the best ways to explore the area is by bike! We rent out various types of bikes that you can hire by the half-day, day, or week.
We have two covered bicycle parking areas (not locked) where you can park your bicycle. There are also a number of power outlets in these bicycle parking areas.
Villa Magnolia does not have its own gym. However, our gardens are large enough to find a quiet spot for yoga, for example. There are also several gyms in the area that you can visit. Our staff will be happy to tell you more about them.
Villa Magnolia has 4 charging points for electric cars. These charging points are universal and accessible with any European charging card. Please remember to bring your own charging cable, as our charging stations do not have a fixed cable.
We only serve breakfast in our Orangery. Therefore, we do not offer lunch or dinner. However, Walcheren has an abundance of excellent dining options. Here you can view our restaurant recommendations.
Furthermore, all our accommodations are equipped with their own mini-fridge. We also offer you the option of helping yourself to drinks from our ‘Honesty Bar’. This bar is located in the old kitchen of the Villa. We offer a wide selection of liqueurs, drinks, and soft drinks. You will also find a wide variety of snacks and sweets. We kindly request that you note what you have consumed, and the costs will be charged upon departure.

Villa Magnolia organizes events in the Orangery upon request. Please let us know your wishes, and we will be happy to discuss the possibilities with you. We invite you to complete your visit with an overnight stay in one of our characteristic accommodations.
